Hourglass is the first official single released by Barefoot Bishops and marks the first song recorded by the band following they're reunion. Hourglass is about nostalgia and returning to simpler times in life.

After taking a short break, Barefoot Bishops returned in December of 2020 to release they're new single, Stuck in the Pot was an old song from the band's original run that has since been tweaked and improved upon. This song explores the adverse effects of drug use as a coping mechanisms for stress 

FAIRY FINDER

January 2021

This single track sees a return to the similar style of hourglass with the upbeat finger style guitar and building Cajon. Fairy finder is a song written by Alfie Brown about growing up with his grandfather 

HYMN FOR MR TOM

May 2021

This single blends the new style with the old Barefoot Bishops style seen in stuck in the pot to produce a unique sound. Inspired by the words of Alan Watts and containing a sound sample of one of his lectures, this song explores themes of death acceptance and subvocal silence to gain a closer relationship with reality.
